Natividad Pangilinan Padilla is the sister of my lola Purita Padilla but she was more than my lola’s sister to me. As I grew up till before my teens, not only did I grow up in her apartment (who were dominantly occupied by relatives), I also have tons of memories of being in her house playing in her bahay kubo (Nipa Hut) and relaxing in the swing in her garden.
Unfortunately, she joined her creator July 24, 2016 and it was an honor to be assigned to give her eulogy. It was just so easy honoring a person who was truly worthy of being honored. As I scanned through the pictures that would be turned into her AVP, I cannot help but think of the countless people whom she helped get to where they are right now. Truly, it is not the amount of wealth and treasure you amass that matters, for they will all be left behind for the next generation to waste, but the # of lives you’ve touched…
