A few weeks ago… i had a little financial problem. With my recent US trip, i overspent again… to a proportion that surprised me when my bank informed me that I over exceeded my 7 digit credit limit. After almost emptying my bank accounts to its mere maintaining balances, i was still short by about 200k. With this I had to call up the bank and convert this amount to pay lite (aka instalment). 3-debt

Its weird but through this i never had any fear… I trusted God’s promise in Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” and He always has, so there were no reason to doubt. Even when i didn’t expect any incoming money this month or the next, not from photography, not from video, not from Diving and not from Event management.

Then someone called me from an insurance company asking that I have a check ready for pickup. At first i thought it was one of the scams as I did not expect to receive any check. When she offered to deliver it instead, i said Go thinking I have nothing to lose. A few days later, i got the check which was exactly to the amount of money i needed.

200k pay letter
It didn’t end there. Another call came… this time the voice was a bit garbled. All i heard was a name that started with Y. Then i thought, I guessed that it was the driver of my last bride named Yvonnne asking where to pick-up her DVDs. I told him i’d meet him in CCF Tiendesitas since he said he was near there and that i’d bring the DVDs with me. So the next day, we meet and it turns out that it wasn’t from Yvonne but Yolly who just wanted to bless me — financially that is. And with it was a note that says “Here’s a little addition to the funds you are saving for your next project: a photoshoot with your family.” because I had told her a few months back that I was going to take the whole family to Macau this november for a photoshoot.

Cash & Note

Then, that same day… I receive a text from my partner Mot who handles our finance.
3-text
This was an old time debt… probably over 5 years old. So old that i’ve written it off. But i believe God spoke to this person and just at the right time when I needed it. God is never early but neither is He ever late. Amazing isn’t it? God you never fail to surprise me…

Hebrews 13:2 says “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Next time when you see a stranger in need, go help. By doing so, the bible says, you may have helped an angel without knowing it… and tho I am no Angel, i believe some of these people above are angels sent by God to pull me out in this time of need.
